A cross-harbour cycle route runs alongside Atlantic Drive, Harbour Quay, Pacific Drive and part of Pevensey Bay Road (pink lines on this map).
Since much of the cycle route is shared with pedestrians, cyclists are asked to keep their speed down, ride responsibly and give way to pedestrians. Pedestrians should avoid blocking cycle lanes.
A Bikeability course gives children (and adults) the skills they need for riding their bikes on the road. It also encourages children to think independently and make informed decisions. Individual training for adults and children can be arranged at our Cycling Centre in Eastbourne
