■  We are based at Sovereign Harbour, a large, modern, housing and marina development over-looking the sea on the outskirts of Eastbourne, East Sussex.

■  Formed in 2007, The Harbour WI has a membership of over 80

■ The membership for The Harbour W.I. has reached a maximum for the premises where it is held, but there is a waiting list for anybody who wishes to join in the future.

■ We warmly welcome new members – just come along and try us for two visits before deciding to join.

■  We meet in the Sovereign Suite at Sovereign Harbour Yacht Club on the 2nd Monday of the month at 2.00 p.m.

■  We also have a craft group which meets on the 3rd Monday of the month from 2-4 p.m. at the Baptist Church Hall in Pevensey Bay.

■  You don't have to be arty-crafty or a domestic goddess. The WI is about new opportunities.

■  For less than £2.50 a month you can enter a whole new circle of friends, listen to speakers on a variety of topics, enjoy a monthly County Newsletter, receive copies of the National magazine, gain access to a wide range of WI events and have FUN.
