Bus Services
The Two Terminuses
It is about a ten minute walk between the North Harbour bus terminus at the end of Pacific Drive and the South Harbour terminus at the end of Atlantic Drive. Each terminus is served by a separate, hourly service.
A special bus lane linking the North and South Harbours is planned, but at present there is no cross-harbour bus route.
The Two Routes from the Harbour
From North Harbour (End of Pacific Drive) - Stagecoach bus No. 5 operates an hourly service to and from central Eastbourne and beyond. Pacific Drive - ASDA - Bridgemere Rd - Town Centre - DGH - Willingdon - Polegate - Hailsham.
From South Harbour (End of Atlantic Drive) -Stagecoach bus No. 5A operates an hourly service to and from central Eastbourne and beyond. Atlantic Drive - Beatty Rd - Bridgemere Rd - Town Centre - DGH - Willingdon - Polegate - Hailsham.
Routes from Eastbourne
From Eastbourne Town Centre, Terminus Road (Stop "D" by Specsavers)
To North Harbour, Pacific Drive (hourly via ASDA) - Route 5
To South Harbour, Atlantic Drive (hourly via Beatty Road)- Route 5A

Out of Town Bus Routes
Eastbourne Community Bus Service
Available Wednesday, Thursday and Friday between 9.30 am and 2.30 pm. The fare is £1.50 per person per journey and you must register for membership in advance of booking. Membership is free. To qualify you must either:
- Hold or qualify for a Countycard concessionary pass
- Have any form of mobility difficulty that prevents you using other local bus services.

Pevensey Community Bus Service
Westham & Pevensey Local Transport Partnership run community bus services on Tuesday and Saturday that serve the ASDA stops on Pevensey Bay Road. Bus travels between Beachlands, Pevensey Bay, ASDA, Langney Shopping Centre, Westham, Stone Cross, Pevensey.
A Wednesday service serves Langney and Hailsham - and it may be hailed at bus stops along the route. Click here for more details and timetables.
Dotto Train (April to October)
Hourly service runs all the way along Eastbourne prom from Atlantic Drive via Langney Point to Holywell just beneath the Downs. Click this link for Dotto route map and timetable...
City SightSeeing Open Top Bus
Runs half-hourly from the Pier on a circular (and usually pretty breezy) route to Beachy Head and back with a few stops along the way. Accepts concessionary travel passes. For more information click here.
