The Sovereign Harbour Art Group was formed in September 2007 by artist and tutor Angela Clarke-Beagley and has now become well established in the Eastbourne area.

This popular Group is open to beginners & experienced artists, harbour & non-harbour residents. All aspects of drawing & painting are undertaken including acrylic, watercolour, oil & pastels.

The Group offers...

●  weekly art classes in a friendly, informal & relaxed environment;
●  art exhibitions held throughout the year at different venues;
●  outdoor painting trips when weather permits;
●  periodical painting technique demonstrations;
●  optional life drawing class on 3rd Thursday of each month.

The Classes

●  Classes are every Thursday 9.30am – 12.30pm;
●  At Christ The King Catholic Hall, Princes Road, Eastbourne.

The classes are tutored in a relaxed and friendly environment, with the emphasis on being both enjoyable and educational. Class fees are £10 per person for each 3 hour session which covers hall hire and tuition. Annual membership fee for 2009 is £6.

Art materials are not supplied. Members are invited to paint from their own subjects.

Following on from last year's calendar, the group's 2010 desktop calendar has now been published and is on sale in Eastbourne's Information & Tourist Centre at £4.50. They may also be ordered by email from acrylicart@hotmail.co.uk
